When crafting Hyatt Ziva Cancun, Playa Resorts wanted to create a different all-inclusive experience, and they succeed with this all-new, luxurious property on the Cancun strip.
“The Evolution of All Inclusive is taken to all whole new level at Hyatt Ziva in Cancun,” raves Ashley Colburn, Emmy-winning travel guru and host of Paradise Found.

A Unique, Different Experience
Says Ashley, “With fourteen restaurants and bars to choose, there are flavors from around the globe, so be ready to explore your sense of taste.”
“With the Evolution of the All-Inclusive, all our food and beverage concepts, restaurants, and bars try to give people what they like, probably a little different,” explains Alexandre de Brouwer, general manager of the property.
In addition to the gourmet restaurants with French, Asian, and Italian cuisine, this luxurious resort boasts a beachside cevicheria, a 1950’s café (complete with Corvette), and a sweet shop.
“Pasteles, which is a dessert parlor, has all kinds of sweets and pastries, sugar cotton, and good for any age,” says Alexandre. “Our guests of all ages go at least once a day.”
Other experiences include the formal French restaurant, La Bastille, or the casual Habaneros with tacos less than 30 feet from the beach. The resort also hosts a microbrewery, which brews three different beers every month using local ingredients.

“We’re trying to make unique beers, very different from the regular commercial beer,” says Brewmaster Juan Jose Garcia Ornelas. “It’s beer, but sometimes they taste like our wine. It’s something very unique.”
The resort also boasts food carts by the pool, allowing guests to grab a quick bite wherever they headed.
What else makes this property the quintessential all-inclusive escape in Cancun?
“The location is really a privileged one,” says Alexandre. ‘We’re really lucky to have this property on this part [of the strip] because it’s one of the two tips of the island, so we are surrounded by the sea on three sides. It is unique and the best location in Cancun, definitely, and probably Mexico.”
The property also boasts an adults-only section, complete with its own infinity pool, and sky swim-up suites, “which is really the cool feature,” says Alexandre. “That’s probably the most demanded room category we have.”
While in Cancun, Ashley arranged through Olympus Tours a Selvatica Ultimate Off-Road Adventure for a 4×4 ride through the jungle.
“Don’t be afraid of getting dirty because it’s a wild ride in the mud!” exclaims Ashley.
Selvatica offers extreme canopy tours, Mayan ruins explorations, private tours, and horseback riding, while Olympus Tours offers comfortable and luxurious transportation to and from your adventure as well as transportation to and from the airport. When using a shared shuttle, Olympus arranges a maximum of two stops before your destination, travel insurance, and an English-speaking staff. When choosing a private shuttle, you’ll enjoy all the previous mentioned amenities, plus immediate denature and a banner with your name on it.
Olympus Tours offers service in more than 850 destinations worldwide, including all the hotspots in the Caribbean and Mexico. So when booking your escape to the quintessential all-inclusive resort, trust Olympus Tours with your transfers to your sightseeing excursions and flights.
Located on white, sandy beaches of Cancun, Hyatt Ziva Cancun is a playful escape, and “from the moment you arrive, you can take it all in because it’s all included,” says Ashley.
Alexandre agrees. “It’s all-inclusive, but we tried to make it different, so we have different entertainment, like a spinning class in the swimming pool. We make all our own shows, every night, so that’s the idea. To make it different.”
Playa Resorts didn’t just succeed; they excelled, evolving the all-inclusive resort into an all-inclusive escape.
