American Airlines Will Offer Daily Flight Service to Grenada

American Airlines will offer daily flight service between the U.S. and Grenada beginning in December.

Grenada’s Civil Aviation Minister Alexandra Otway-Noel told Grenada’s Government Information Service (GIS) the deal will “allow us to get more volume, as well as get some more connections on different days through Miami.”

American Airlines will increase its service to Grenada beginning in December.

American Airlines currently provides flights to Grenada Thursday through Monday. An American Airlines spokesperson confirms the added service, stating, “American Airlines has been offering nonstop service between Miami and Grenada for more than five years. Currently, we operate five weekly flights to Grenada and on Dec. 2, our service will increase to one daily flight.”

The spokesperson says the Boeing 737-800 aircraft used for this flight features 16 Business Class seats and 134 seats in the main cabin.

Otway-Noel says visitors, locals, businesses and St. George’s University faculty and students will all benefit from the added flights. “They will have a bit of an easier time traveling and more transportation options,” she says.
