Pool-tastic Adventures at Villa Group in Mexico

When I travel to an all-inclusive resort in Mexico and the Caribbean, there are a few “make it or break it” amenities/inclusions. The quality of the French toast, the bathroom door—or lack thereof—and the pools, of course. A good resort must have a fantastic pool, and at Villa Group’s resorts in Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit, Los Cabos, and Cancun, you’ll find amazing oases in which to relax and unwind.

Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta

The original Villa Group resort is a serene getaway with Spanish colonial décor, suites with private terraces or balconies, five restaurants and bars, and daily entertainment, like beach parties, Mexican fiestas, volleyball, and guacamole prep. In the pool department, three freeform pools sparkle with new fine pebbles. The resort’s largest pool offers a rock garden waterfall plus a 16-foot waterslide for beauty and excitement. Enjoy complimentary pool activities or relax in a 12-person spa tub.

Villa del Palmar Flamingos Riviera Nayarit

Dive into fun and excitement at Villa del Palmar Flamingos Riviera Nayarit! This hotel boasts a multi-level, lagoon-style pool that acts as a centerpiece for the resort’s entertainment. Be massaged by the splashing waterfalls, unwind in one of the lounge chairs surrounding the pool, and experience one of the craziest water volleyball game you will ever play.

On top of the pools, indulge in sunset dinners on the beach or personalized in-suite chef service. Bringing the family? Deluxe studio suites have kitchenettes while larger suites have complete kitchens and laundry amenities. Bringing the company? Tee off with executives at the adjacent 18-hole Flamingos Golf Course and Vista Vallarta and Marina Vallarta golf courses in Puerto Vallarta.

Villa Del Arco Beach Resort & Spa Los Cabos

Villa del Arco Beach Resort & Spa

There’s a full-sized pirate ship in the main pool! Need we say more? If so, we’ll say the main pool is a two-level freeform oasis with waterfalls, garden inlets, and even a pair of swim-up bars. The upscale family-friendly resort boasts views of Land’s End from the pools, plus children’s area and spa tubs. Due to the fierce undertow, only a few beaches are swimmable in this destination, but Villa del Arco is located on the safest swimmable beach in Cabo San Lucas, Medano Beach.

Villa del Palmar Cancun

Villa Del Palmar Cancun

We can’t say this is our favorite Villa Group resort, but we will say Villa del Palmar Cancun is one of a kind with an adults-only infinity-edge adult pool, perfect for relaxing with your favorite drink with cabanas and loungers; a main pool featuring a bridge with water elements; water volleyball; daily aqua-aerobic classes; and a crystal clear beach for snorkeling. Did we mention the outdoor Jacuzzi has a firepit? I’m a sucker for a good firepit, too. Smores anyone?

Oh, and also at this resort, guests will find face painting, balloon animals, bocce ball, tequila tastings, romantic dinners, dancing lessons, shiatsu massage, cooking lessons, a Mayan show, and so much more.

So are you ready to dive into some of the best pools in Mexico? Choose Villa Group, and you’ll discover a new way to soak up all that fun and sun.
