Emmy-winning Travel Guru Ashley Colburn landed in the Dominican Republic’s national treasure, Punta Cana, where she explored the all-inclusive and luxurious Majestic Colonial and Majestic Elegance Resorts on the shimmering golden sands of the world-famous Bávaro Beach.

“Bávaro is literally 25 miles of pure white sand beach, and we’re lucky enough to be ocean front,” says Paula Miller, marketing director for Majestic Resorts. “This hotel was built for romance.”
Majestic Colonial welcomes couples, groups, and families but hosts many honeymoon couples and weddings.
Says Ashley, “Both Majestic Resorts have several locations from beachfront to gazebos. There’s even a Catholic chapel to say I do in.”

The resort also offers evening entertainment, and you’ll never know who will show up! (Check out 4:57.) An on-site casino lets adults try their luck until 3 a.m., while the sports bar and disco are great for watching the big game or celebrating a special occasion.
“This all-inclusive resort allows you to decide what you want to find in your elegant paradise. There’s plenty to keep you busy…or not,” says Ashley.
Perhaps the most important part of any vacation is the room choice, and Majestic Resorts has quite a lovely mix in its sophisticated paradise.
“In each of these areas we have a selection of rooms from junior suites to one-bedroom suites depending upon the amount of guests who will be staying,” notes Paula. “How I normally describe it is that the inside of our junior suite rooms stays the same in various room categories and what happens on the balcony changes the name and price of the room.”
