IBEROSTAR Paraiso Maya: Same location, different digs, this gem is also in between Cancun and Playa del Carmen but incorporates more of a traditional Mayan look, with Mayan art all throughout the resort grounds. In fact, each piece of furniture is actually a work of art made of wood, brass, bronze, or limestone. A giant harp made with seashells in its strings, huge brass vases, authentic Mayan ruins, and a lobby bar that is an exact replica of the pyramid of Chichen Itza makes this stay a true masterpiece.
