There’s always something going on at Atlantis, Paradise Island! This November, the mega resort welcomes a new restaurant with South American flavor, and this December, a legendary singer helps ring in 2016 with a bash in the ballroom.

Atlantis, Paradise Island reminds travelers why it’s one of the culinary centers of the Bahamas with its newest dining experience, 77° West. Located at the approximate latitude of its namesake, the new signature restaurant of The Cove Atlantis will feature South American-inspired cuisine with a Bahamian touch.

“At 77° West, we focus on fusing together ubiquitous textures, colors, and, flavors of cooking styles prevalent to South American cuisine,” said Garry O’Connor, Executive Chef of The Cove Atlantis in a release. “Our innovative Caribbean touches complement our use of fresh and local and regional produce, creating a product that is rich in tradition and culture.”

Guests will savor such succulent choices as Bahamian Cracked Lobster paired with creamed corn or Roasted Chilean Seabass with island spice and hot crab ceviche. The restaurant will also feature vegan and vegetarian options, including Oven Baked Wheat Tostada, served with various vegetables and moranga salsa. A “Simply or Island Grilled” options allow guests to have their meat or seafood seasoned with the special house blend of spices, which will be served with side dishes like Grilled Asparagus and Chili Spice Fries. Delectable desserts will blend Bahamian flavors with classic choices, like Roasted Pumpkin Creama, Coconut Flan, and Guava Tart.

77° West will joining Atlantis’ 21 restaurants and 19 bars this November.

Dance Away December

Atlantis, Paradise Island welcomes singing legend Diana Ross on New Year’s Eve for an epic performance in the Imperial Ballroom with beer, wine, and champagne included. Beginning at 9:30 p.m., you’ll be able to join Diana for an intimate performance before ringing in the new year at one of the hottest destinations in the world.

Rob Lake, “The Top Illusionist in the World,” also returns to Atlantis on Dec. 30.
