Our Favorite Virtual Museum Tours

When we can’t escape to visit incredible attractions, it’s time to take matters into our own hands and bring those attractions to us. And some of the most renowned museums are allowing you to do just that with free virtual tours. Whether you’re revisiting your favorite museums or checking them out for the very first time, you’ll love wandering the halls and viewing some of the most famous works of art and artifacts in the world.
Here are some of our favorites:

Musée d’Orsay, Paris

Once a railroad station built to host travelers for the Universal Exhibition of 1900, the Musée d’Orsay is itself a work of art. Inside you’ll find a distinct variety of French art that includes everything from paintings and sculptures, to photography and furniture. Some of the highlights include paintings by the French greats Renoir, Monet, Degas, and Cézanne.

MASP, Sao Paulo
Brazil’s first modern museum, the Museu de Arte de São Paulo displays its art in a uniquely breathtaking manner. The pieces are suspended on clear Perspex frames, which gives the illusion that the artwork is simply hovering in the air. The museum is home to an internationally-recognized collection of European and Brazilian art, as well as smaller collections of African and Asian pieces.
