Viva Las Vegas Events

Viva Las Vegas! You’ve enjoyed the Elvis movie; now enjoy the convention this April.

April 2-5Viva Las Vegas 18 rocks Las Vegas (duh!) for a Rockabilly Weekend with a tiki pool party, car show, burlesque events, bowling, and more!

April 8-12Barbados International Game Fishing Tournament offers fishing events, modeling events, and daily happy hour after a day at the ocean.

April 19-20Festival Del Mar, Anguilla allows generations to celebrate and visitors to learn of the island’s culture with traditional cooking and culinary competitions, swimming races, fishing tournament, boat racing, and more.

April 24, 25Creedence Clearwater Revisisted plays at Moon Palace Golf and Spa Resort, Cancun.

New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival  Events

Get your Jazz on with big names like Elton John, The Who, Jimmy Buffett, and more this April in New Orleans.

April 24-26—Geeks unite in Chicago for the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, AKA C2E2, one of America’s largest conventions for pop culture.

April 24-May 3New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival features 12 stages with a diverse music lineup and a showcase of Louisiana’s unique culture, including Elton John, The Who, Jimmy Buffett, No Doubt, Keith Urban, Pitball, Ed Sheeran, T.I., Chicago, and more.

 

What to Do in May

Shaggy Moon Palace Jamaica Grande Events

Don’t miss the opening of Palace Resorts’ first Caribbean getaway, Moon Palace Jamaica Grande and the welcome concert, starring Shaggy!

May 1-10—CMW—Canadian Music Week, Canada’s largest music festival, rocks Toronto with 10 nights of performances, more than 1,000 bands, and 60 live music venues.

May 8—Shaggy returns to Jamaica for the opening concert at Moon Palace Jamaica Grande.

May 12-16The International Gay Festival in Cancun welcomes the LGBTQ community with special events like a welcome mariachi party, tour of Cancun, a sunset Caribbean cruise, beach barbeques, and a farewell champagne breakfast.

May 22Disneyland Resort turns 60 on July 17, but the Diamond Celebration kicks off today!

May 29-31BottleRock Napa Valley welcomes music, food, wine, and brew, and such acts like Imagine Dragons, No Doubt, American Authors, and Snoop Dogg.

May 27-31Ozzfiesta at Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya celebrates with a 5-day/4-night fiesta of special events and a beachside concert by Ozzy Osbourne himself.

 

What to Do in June

JuneTurtle season starts today when the female endangered sea turtles head to the beaches to lay and nest their eggs in Los Cabos.

You won’t want to miss turtle season in Los Cabos, which starts in June!

June 12-14The Chicago Blues Festivals, the largest free blue festivals in the world, attracts more than 500,000 fans to Chicago’s Grant Park for the best in blues music.

June 15-21—The largest surf and music festival in Mexico and Latin America, Los Cabos Open of Surf takes place along Costa Azul’s Zippers Beach Break and serves as part of the world qualifying series for the Men’s 6 Star Association of Surfing Professionals Event.

June 19-21The FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen is the magazine’s signature event, which gathers more than 300 wines and luxury brands together in one pavilion, as well as 80 cooking demonstrations and wine seminars.

June 26-July 5The 36th Annual Festival International de Jazz de Montreal is ranked as the world’s largest jazz festival by Guinness World Records and hosts more than 30 countries, 3,000 musician and public entertainers, and 1,000 concerts and activities with two-thirds of events free.
